NGSSA Tournament Rules
[Effective Date: May 3, 2006]
Remember, tournament rules are the same as the current NGSSA Rules, with the following exceptions:
Minor Tournament Rules |

Coin flip will determine home team at start of all games. | |||||
|
2
|
Games #1 through #28 will have a time limit, no new inning will begin after 1 hour 15 minutes. | |||||
|
3
|
Team player will only pitch the first inning of games #1 through #28. | |||||
|
4
|
Game ends early if either team is ahead by 15 or more runs after 4 complete innings, or ahead by 10 or more runs after 5 innings. (Except game #29 and on.) | |||||
|
5
|
Games #29 and on will be full 7 innings. | |||||
|
6
|
Regular season rules are in effect for game #29 and on. | |||||
|
7
|
The three run limit is in effect when the team player is pitching. The five run limit is in effect when the coach pitches, and there is a 7 run limit in the 7th inning. | |||||
|
8
|
Home plate template will be used in all innings in which a team player pitches. | |||||
